The Simple Definition
Artificial Intelligence (AI) = Computer systems that can perform tasks that normally need human intelligence — like recognizing faces, understanding speech, or recommending music.
The Three Levels of AI
🔷 NARROW AI (What we have today)
- Does ONE thing very well
- Examples: Google Translate, Spotify recommendations, Siri
- 99.9% of all AI is Narrow AI
🔶 GENERAL AI (Does not exist yet)
- Could do anything a human can
- Experts estimate: maybe 10-50 years away
🔴 SUPER AI (Science fiction for now)
- Smarter than all humans combined
- No one knows if this is possible
